Rules

1. Each essay must be:
(a) original and individual essay,
(b) written in either Khmer or English,
(c) between 3-5 pages (A4 size),
(d) include short summary on the first page,
(e) Included name, school, age, phone number, e-mail, home address
(f)Included references (preferable)
2. Each participant can submit only one essay.
3. CSAJ reserves the right to publish the nominated essays.

Selection Progress

  1. Ten best essays will be viewed and selected by the CSAJ Committee.
  2. Three winning essays will be chosen from the ten essays by a final jury in Phnom Penh on August 28, 2010.

Deadline: July 1, 2010

March 1,2010 -Essay Contest launched
Jul 1,2010 -Submission Deadline
Jul 30,2010 -Finalists announcement*
Aug 28,2010 -Final Jury and Awarding Ceremony in Phnom Penh** (Tentative)

*The announcement will be posted on http://essaycontest.csaj-khmer.org/
CSAJ will also inform the 10 finalists via phone and email.
**CSAJ will pay for domestic transportation and accommodation costs for finalists living outside of Phnom Penh.
